Verona concert to aid Haitian street children



A December 7 concert in Verona, Italy that will help abandoned and homeless children in Haiti will include a performance by Loreena. She will be among the artists appearing at the Concerto di Natale XVI edizione. The show traditionally unites Italian and international performers with an invited cast drawn from across a spectrum of faiths and cultures, united by the seasonal message of hope and renewal. This year’s concert will be held at the almost 300-year-old Philharmonic Theatre, best known for hosting operas, ballets and winter season works. This eagerly anticipated event will be broadcast on the Italian television channel RAI DUE on December 24th at 9:00 PM CEST. The Concert will also be broadcast via satellite around the world at a later date by Italy’s national broadcaster, RAI INTERNATIONAL. The exact date and times will be confirmed once international programming schedules are finalized. The funds raised from the Concerto di Natale XVI edizione will be donated to the Don Bosco Foundation, a not-for-profit organization devoted to improving the lives of children living in poverty.
